Crisis or Morcut which is identified as malware is getting circulated in the form of a java JAR archive. The java applet is a cross platform and detects which OS the user is running. The payload that is actually installed depends on which OS the user is running.
SOLUTION:
Macs are not always safe from malware. Antivirus Security software is a must.
